Working with a new funder or partner organisation
If the funder or organisation you are working with is not available on Worktribe, you can request that they're added to the system by completing the Worktribe - New Organisation Request Form.
You can also use this form to request a change to the role of an existing organisation on the system.
Setting up a new funder
New funders should be the ultimate source of project funding.
New funder requests will be received by the Due Diligence team, who will share the form with other relevant teams to complete the necessary checks.
The Credit Control team will review the credit worthiness of funder and make recommendations for payment terms. The Research Development team will confirm that the appropriate costing template has been selected.
Read more about due diligence checks.
Once these checks have been completed, the form will be approved and set up on Worktribe.
New organisation requests
New organisation requests will follow similar due diligence checks as for funders. New organisation requests can be made for any other type of research partner relationship that are not funders. These can include:
- new partners that are passing funds from the main funder to the University
- new partners receiving funds as a sub-award from the University
- non-financial partners that are involved in an agreement with the University
If potential concerns are identified through the funder or partner checks, the organisation may be referred to the Committee on Benefactions and External Legal Affairs.
